Regardless of what’s on Facebook, I don’t think Josh ever meant that every student is “anti-gay.” However, every student did choose to sign the document, whether they read it or not. Maybe it’s time for those who disagree to change the culture on their campus or find an education elsewhere that is more in tune with their beliefs…just as Josh will find venues to play that reflect his.

George Jones…reminds me of the time my dad took Tammy Wynette and her entire tour bus off the highway in the middle of the night down to the court house for refusing to accept a speeding ticket. i.e. This is how I learned integrity, my dad did not discriminate when it came to his work—if you broke the law, you paid the consequence.

St. Francis of Assisi and now Pope Francis I On our trip to Italy in October my favorite place and most spiritual experience was in Assisi where I received the anointing of the sick in  St. Francis’ church, where he built his small mission and where he died.  What a magical moment when it was announced that new Pope was not only a South American, but took the name of Francis. Very cool. Bless the new Pope and may he transform the church into a more accepting body of faith.
